ECO EARTH WEEK EVENTS:

Take Action with Sierra Club Electric Vehicles Initiative: Info and Letter-to-Editor Session

Date/time: Wednesday, April 19, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM ET

Location: IAB Room 405A

Kat Fisher, New York representative for the Sierra Club’s Electric Vehicles Initiative, will hold an info session on their work to advance electric vehicles and ensure that settlement funds from the VW diesel emissions scandal are directed towards clean, electric transportation. We will then write up short Letters to the Editor in support of electric vehicles to submit to New York newspapers and publications. This is an excellent skill for any policymaker or advocate to have!

PEOPLE’S CLIMATE MARCH PHONE BANK

Date/Time: Thursday, April 20th, 5 – 7 PM

Location: Lehman Library Room 2

Turn up to turn out! We’ll be calling likely marchers to make sure they have a plan to get to the People’s Climate March in Washington D.C. on April 29th. Come make some calls and have some fun: Be a part of the movement!

 

MARCH FOR SCIENCE NYC

Date/Time: EARTH DAY! Saturday, April 22, 10:30 AM – 4 PM

Location: 64th St. & Central Park West
