ECO Newsletter: Week of November 9, 2016

Hi everyone –

Apologies for the delayed newsletter this week. It’s a momentous week for the world, and that very much includes its environment. Greater challenges will, of course, mean more is required from policy makers like us. From ECO, thank you sincerely for your participation in this organization and we hope you are not discouraged – there is much work to be done.

With that in mind, if you’re a first year, please consider applying for the 2017 ECO Board. You can find more details here.

Back to this week’s events and opportunities…

As a part of the Global Collaboratory, the RMap Team developed and piloted a toolkit that facilitates information sharing and coordination to improve energy access in rural Rwanda, with a focus on institutional scale systems at health centers, schools, and government offices. The team (Aditya Subramanian, Diana Nielsen, Jeewon Kim, Katherine Sullivan, Sonya Suter, and Utsav Adhikari) will present their experiences and findings over lunch.

Environmental Policy Under the New Administration

When: November 15, 2016, 10:00am – 4:00pm
