New Columbia Chapter of The Institute for Nuclear Materials Management (INMM)

The Institute for Nuclear Materials Management (INMM) is interested in setting up a chapter at Columbia University, and we are seeking students who would be interested in joining and/or managing this new chapter. This is an excellent opportunity to get involved in a potentially new student organization at SIPA and network with other nuclear materials, security, and nonproliferation students and professionals. More information on INMM can be found at

The Institute of Nuclear Materials Management is the premier scientific and educational organization committed to advancing quality nuclear materials management practices worldwide. It is an international organization with members in France, Germany, Russia, Ukraine, Japan, Korea, Austria, the UK, South America and the United States. Its members work in government and industry including at the National Nuclear Security Administration, the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, U.S. national laboratories, the International Atomic Energy Agency, Russia’s Institute of Physics and Power Engineering, Euratom, the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute, the Korean Atomic Energy Research Institute, electric utilities, universities, consulting organizations, and law firms.

If you or anyone you know might be interested in being a part of a new INMM chapter, please email Alan Cunningham at for more information (subject line should read “INMM”).
